April Cottage
Although April Cottage is over 200 years old, it is able to offer you many modern comforts; including underfloor heating and, for those who need to stay connected, both wired and wireless broadband connections.
Of course not everything modern can be considered progress, so your tea and coffee making facilities will include a fridge with fresh milk rather than UHT cartons. As we only let one room you will also have exclusive use of a separate sitting-room, which opens out onto a private sheltered patio.
In the morning you can enjoy your choice of breakfast, helping yourself to cereals, fresh fruit, squeezed juices, yogurts, freshly baked bread, pastries and home made preserves, or ordering a cooked breakfast made with locally sourced dry cured bacon and free range eggs from our own chickens. All washed down with a cafetiere of fresh ground coffee or a pot of Yorkshire tea. Consistently rated as 5 star by our guests, a recent review said:
